About Brooke
Brooke is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with children and families. Brooke holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Brooke has a strong background in pediatric medical social work, working with children who have complex medical needs, as well as children and families in crisis. Brooke has also worked with children in foster care and families pursuing adoption.
Brooke is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and is Level 2 trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Brooke is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has experience working with children and their families with a wide array of diagnoses, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Driven by passion
Brooke is passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, and families recognize their inherent strengths, build connections in their lives, and develop coping strategies for life stressors. As a parent herself, Brooke recognizes that parenting can be both incredibly fulfilling and challenging at times. Brooke provides a trauma-informed, collaborative approach with parents and caregivers to ensure they feel confident in understanding and supporting their child’s behavioral and mental health needs at home. Brooke enjoys working with individuals of all genders, ethnicities, and sexual orientations.
Outside of the office, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and dog Maggie. Reading, traveling, and being outdoors also bring joy to Brooke’s life.
